To comply with Governor Hogan's Order Number 20-07-29-01, all customers are expected to wear face coverings when using any of the facilities at HWDC or Tollgate. Thank you for your cooperation and help in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
Saturdays are our busiest days, especially at the HWDC trash drop-off, resulting in wait times of an hour or more. Mondays, Fridays and even Thursdays are experiencing similar delays. Customers should arrive, for trash disposal, no later than 2:30 p.m., or they may be asked to return on a different day.
Please consider bringing your trash on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
The Harford Waste Disposal Center (HWDC) is the site of the County’s landfill, mulch and compost facility, and homeowner drop-off location for household waste and recyclables.
The Harford Waste Disposal Center is at 3241 Scarboro Road. Directions to this facility can be found using Google Maps.
