The CDRB is comprised of selected representatives from charitable/religious groups, businesses and corporations, state and local (each municipality) government agencies, the public school system, the local correctional facility, the local housing agency, homeless/formerly homeless persons, coalitions and citizens, service providers, community services groups, and the military.
The CDRB comes together to review and make recommendations for the funding awarded either by the county, or through the county, for:
All homeless programs
The county's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Partnerships Initiative Program (HOME) entitlements from HUD
The county-funded Grant In Aid program
The funding awarded is for activities that support the goals outlined by the county in the Consolidated Plan (PDF) (FY2007-FY2011), which is the county's plan to serve it's low-income residents.
