In what has been referred to as challenging economic times over concern that the U.S. economy will slide into recession, Harford County's economic outlook remains financially strong and stable. Sound financial management practices and the use of strategic planning and communication during the past three budget cycles have enabled County Executive David Craig to adequately fund facilities, programs, and resources that focus his Administrative Initiatives: Public Safety, Efficiency in Government, Economic Opportunity, Environmental Stewardship, and Quality Living for Harford County citizens in Fiscal Year 2009.
