Leight Estuary Center is excited to partner with BeachBee Yoga and offer weekly sunset paddle board yoga classes on Otter Point Creek on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. Participants can expect a core conditioning and body strength-training workout that is low impact and totally different from anything they've done before. All classes are 90 minutes and will meet at the Pontoon Pier for a quick introduction, demo on launching the boards, correct paddle technique, and standing up once you’re ready. No paddling experience necessary, but a basic knowledge of yoga is helpful. Participants meet at Pontoon Pier This program is for ages 14 – adult and the fee is $35/person per class.

    Bring out your inner naturalist and explore natural resource topics like aquatic life, geology, and wildlife. Work with specialists in these fields and gain an understanding of the ecosystem around Otter Point Creek, the Bush River, and beyond. Plan to get your feet wet with trips in our pontoon boat, kayaks, and canoes. This program is for ages 11 - 14 and the fee is $120/child.

    VOYAGE TO THE WILD SUMMER CAMP

    Voyage to the Wild Summer Camp Eden Mill Nature Center is now taking registration. Ages 6-8 from July 27- July 31 from 9:00am-3:00pm. Get ready to step into the world of the wild as we discover the life of those who call Eden Mill home. We'll hike, play games, and make arts and crafts as we experience nature hands-on. We will end each day with swimming in the creek and end our week with a canoe ride on Deer Creek! $160/member or $175/non-member. For more than 200 years old, the mill was hailed as the most significant grist mills in Harford County MD. Filled with milling equipment and displays along with a vintage turn of the century power plant, Eden Mill is a must see experience for all ages.
