The Piedmont Learning Center at Eden Mill Nature Center will be offering this course on February 25th from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm for ages 12 and older. The fee for the course is $12.00 for members or $14.00 for non-members. The honeybee provides the necessary pollination to support approximately one third of our diet. Delve into the secret world of the honeybee first-hand in this introductory course. As a student, you will learn about the honeybee itself, the hierarchy and habits within a colony, and an introduction to the art of beekeeping. A general handout will be provided for note-taking.
