For those of you who like to take a step back in time, Eden Mill is the sight that can't be missed. For more than 200 years old, the mill was hailed as the most significant grist mills in Harford County MD. Filled with milling equipment and displays along with a vintage turn of the century power plant, Eden Mill is a must see experience for all ages.

A collection of furniture, artwork, china, artifacts and other items of domestic life are exhibited. Built in 1788, the house reflects the prosperous lifestyle of the influential merchant and landowner after whom it is named. Sponsored by the Historical Society of Harford County, Inc.

Eden Mill Nature Center is proud to offer “Nature Storytime”. All are welcome who enjoy children’s literature. Join us for a children’s story and craft related to a theme about nature. Families are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy after the program. We request only donations toward the craft for this program. Pre-registration is required.

Reservations are now being taken for Eden Mill Nature Center’s Twilight Family Canoe Trips! These trips help acquaint the paddlers with the natural surroundings on Deer Creek. Exploration of the environment, both the land and the water, is enhanced by the use of canoes to travel along Deer Creek. During these excursions, environmental education and interpretation are provided by the naturalist accompanying the group. Basic paddling instruction is provided before the trip. Canoes, paddles, and personal floatation devices (lifejackets) are provided. All trips originate and end at the Eden Mill Nature Center. The cost is $8.00 per person for non-members / $5.00 per for members. Small groups can be accommodated. Pre-Registration IS required.
