After School Program:
Children, Grades K-8. Come hang out at The Edgewood Recreation and Community Center. Program runs Monday thru Friday, 9/8/09 thru 6/9/10, from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Work on homework, play in the Game Room, do crafts & participate in other special events.
Registration Information: Registration Forms for After School will be available on Monday, 8/24/09. Total Cost: $2.00/school year. Call Meghan at 410-612-1723. Note: PROGRAM FULL as at 9/10/09. Please check back for openings.
Leader-in-Training:
High School Students are invited to help with the After-School Program at The Edgewood Recreation and Community Center, while gaining leadership experience. Assist children with homework, crafts and computer assignments, along with other projects.  Weekdays, 9/8/09 thru 6/9/10, from 3:00pm-6:00pm.
Pick-Up Basketball:
Ages 15-18 Young Men. Meets at the Edgewood Recreation and Community Center on Saturdays from 8:00pm-11:30am, on 11/21/09 & 12/5/09. (Registration will be onsite 1st date 11/21/09.)

Start Smart Sports Program:
Ages 3-5 years. Meets at the Edgewood Recreation and Community Center. Start Smart is an instructional program that helps parents work one-on-one with their children while teaching them the basics of sports: throwing, catching, kicking, and batting. The program focuses on teaching children and their parents basic sport mechanics without the threat of Competition or the fear of getting hurt.
Registration Information: Six(6) sessions. Each session the exercises become more difficult as the class progresses and the children show improvement. Parent Orientation Meeting held Friday, 10/9/09, at 10:00am. Program meets Fridays, 10/16/09 thru 11/20/09, from 10:00am-11:00am. Cost: $40.00. Please call 410.612.1606 for more information.
Walking, Adult:
Come and get healthy! Walking is one of the best cardiovascular exercises around, so come join the Edgewood Recreation and Community Center in its brand new gym for our walking class! Light hand weights will be available for participants use. Dates & Times: 8/17/09 thru 12/31/09. Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 10:00am-12:00noon; Tuesdays and Fridays: 1:00-3:00pm.

StoryPlay:
Action packed hour facilitates the young child (1-3 years of age) & accompaning adult through a hands on learning experience. Activites are age appropriate. Each class is highly structured group activities; i.e. books, music, creative movement, puppets, props, and more. Norrisville Rec. Center
Registration Information: Program is on Mondays and begins September 21, 2009. Fee is $85/hour weekly class that runs 10 weeks. Siblings receive a $20 discount per session; infants under 1 accompanying registered sibling is free. Spaces are limited. Registration is ongoing.
