PROSECUTOR SEEKS DEATH PENALTY IN ABEOKUTO CASE
Harford County State's Attorney Joe Cassilly has served notice that he will seek the death penalty for Jamaal Abeokuto for the kidnapping and murder of Marcianna Ringo. State troopers served the notice on Abeokuto this morning at 8:15.
Assistant State's Attorney H. Scott Lewis will join Cassilly for the prosecution. A tenative trial date has been set for October 20th and dates for pretrial hearigs to be set shortly. Assistant Public Defenders Amanda Bull and Eric McDonald are representing Abeokuto.
