2009 Harford County’s Most Beautiful People Volunteer Awards
Harford County’s most beautiful people of 2009, those who have enriched the lives of our citizens by their acts of kindness and concern, will be honored at a special program hosted by County Executive David R. Craig on October 22. The program will be aired on Harford Cable Network in the months following the event.
Each year we conduct a search for local “unsung heroes” who selflessly assist those around them. They are volunteers of any age whose acts of goodwill have previously gone unnoticed. These “beautiful people” volunteer above and beyond their paid jobs, donating their time and talent to make a difference in Harford County.
Nominations are accepted each summer for the Annual Harford’s Most Beautiful People volunteer awards. If you know someone who continuously contributes their time and talent to enhance the quality of life and community spirit in Harford County, remember to send in a nomination form so they can be honored at next year’s Annual Harford’s Most Beautiful People awards presentation.
Beginning in summer 2010, nomination forms will be available at all branches of the Harford County Library, all Senior Activity Centers, on the web at www.harfordcountymd.gov or by calling Jen Davis of the Department of Community Services’ Volunteer Connection at 410-638-4444 or 410-638-3389.
Award is based on VOLUNTEER SERVICE ONLY.
