  1. Critical Area Planting Project

    May 20, 2018, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Anita C. Leight Estuary Center

    Harford County Planning and Zoning and the Estuary Center are partnering on a planting project at the Pontoon Pier in the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area. Maintenance of existing plantings as well as the addition of new native plants is planned for this year. Pitch in to benefit the Chesapeake Bay and learn about the Critical Area Program and the importance of native landscaping. This is a great service project opportunity for scout, civic, and environmental groups. Participants meet at the Pontoon Pier. This program is for ages 8 to adult.

    May is National Photography Month! Expand your photographic opportunities by embarking on a trip around the marsh to view eagles, wildflowers, and more. Bring your own camera and dry bags. You are responsible for the safety of your equipment. This program is for ages 15 to adult.
