Mary Ann Lisanti is the Council Member for District F which includes: Havre de Grace, Abingdon, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Perryman and Belcamp. She was elected in 2006.

Councilwoman Lisanti, born on October 27, 1967; is a fourth-generation Harford Countian. She graduated from Havre de Grace High School and received a B. A. in Political Science from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 1989. In 1996 she received a M.S. Degree from Central Michigan University in Public Administration.

As a member of the Harford County Council, Councilwoman Lisanti serves on the Personnel Committee, Citizens Nursing Home Board and Mental Health & Addictions Advisory Board.

Councilwoman Lisanti is the Executive Director of the Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway. During her professional career, she worked for the Maryland General Assembly and for both the County Executive and the Department of Planning and Zoning in the Harford County Government. She was City Manager of Havre de Grace, MD; from 1997-2002 and served as Vice President in 2000 and President in 2001 of the Maryland Association of City and County Managers.

Councilwoman Lisanti’s professional accomplishments include major infrastructure restorations and construction of the cultural district in Havre de Grace. She was instrumental in creating a state-of-the-art police and public safety facility and making improvements to the Havre de Grace City Hall.

Councilwoman Lisanti donates time and technical expertise to various non-profit and community organizations. She is a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and has served on finance committees for the Little League and her church.
