The Department of Inspections, Licenses & Permits is responsible for the administration and enforcement of all laws and regulations pertaining to licenses, including those relating to building and construction, plumbing, electrical installations, mobile homes, abandoned buildings and animal control within our County. We are responsible for administering and issuing all County licenses and plumbing and electrical permits, except those specifically required by law to be issued by another County agency. Additionally, we render permit and inspection services through cooperative agreements to our County's three municipalities.

Building & Residential Codes
EFFECTIVE: April 21, 2008
One and two family dwellings and their associated
structures. The new code will apply to all permit applications made on or after this date.
