WHAT TO RECYCLE AT CURBSIDE

 

GLASS, PLASTIC, AND METAL
GLASS JARS AND BOTTLES
All food and beverage jars and bottles  of all colors.
NO
Caps or bottle tops; window glass, drinking glasses, dishes or ceramics, light bulbs, or mirrors.
PLASTIC BOTTLES AND JUGS
Narrow-neck bottles and jugs with #1 Plastic Bottles & Jugsor #2 inside triangle on or near the bottom such as soda and detergent bottles and milk jugs.
NO
Plastic food containers such as yogurt, margarine or peanut butter; plastic film or wrap, plastic dinnerware, plastic containers with numbers 3 through 7 inside a triangle on bottom of the object.

NO Motor oil bottles.

METAL CANS (Aluminum and Tin)
This includes all beverage and food  cans.
NO
Aluminum foil or pans, aluminum siding or chairs, aluminum window frames, or scrap metal of any type.

Rinse and place glass, plastic, and metal containers together in a blue bag. Bottle caps should be discarded. Following the recycling schedule, place at curb on your recycling day on weeks highlighted in blue.

PAPER PRODUCTS
PAPER ITEMS
Newspapers, magazines, catalogs, junk mail, paperboard boxes  (examples: cereal and shirt boxes), telephone books, non-metallic gift wrap, and flattened corrugated cardboard.
NO Food-contaminated, waxed, laminated or carbon paper.

Place all paper items together in a paper bag, cardboard box or bundled. Flatten corrugated cardboard. Following the recycling schedule, place at curb on your recycling day on weeks highlighted in white.

Call your trash hauler to determine what day
of the week is your recycling day.
