Harford County public and private schools and civic organizations may contact the Office of Recycling at 410-638-3417 to schedule a speaker on the subject of recycling both in general, and Harford County specific. A slide presentation accompanies the discussion and takes the recycling public beyond the curb to the processing facility. Additionally, Harford County’s Solid Waste Management Program, which includes incineration, landfilling, composting, recycling and waste reduction, is examined. Each segment of the program plays an essential role in conserving landfill space and natural resources.
