How To Pay Hook-Up Charges

If you have made application to connect to the Harford County public water and/or sewer system and you are at the point in the process that you are ready to pay the Hook-Up Charges, call the Water and Sewer Administration office at 410-638-3300 and give the following information to the person answering the telephone.

Property Owner’s Name
Name of Builder (if applicable)
Caller’s name (if other than property owner)
Telephone number to contact if there is a problem.
Do you want to be called with the total dollar amount when it is calculated ? Yes or No
Address of the property to be served.
Subdivision (if property is in a subdivision/development)
Lot Number
Is this for a SINGLE FAMILY, TOWNHOUSE, TOWNHOUSE/CONDOMINIUM OR A GARDEN-STYLE CONDOMINIUM BUILDING.
(If it is for a garden-style condominium building, how many units are there? )

We will prepare the paperwork and hand-carry it to the Water and Sewer Accounting office located on the 3rd floor at 45 South Main Street in Bel Air 410-638-5253 within 4 working hours (we work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) For example, if you call in for your charges at 4:00 p.m., we will have the paperwork to Water and Sewer Accounting by no later than 11:00 a.m. the next morning. Frequently, we are able to complete this process much faster, but cannot guarantee it.
