The Division of Water & Sewer Maintenance Section maintains approximately 540 miles of water line ranging in size from 3/4" to 30" in diameter. We also maintain approximately 620 miles of sewer line ranging in size from 1 " to 36 " in diameter.

Maintenance includes providing all customers with uninterrupted service 24-hours a day, 365 days per year, i.e. water into the house and sewer out of the house. Typical problems include water breaks in lines, valves, hydrants, and numerous appurtenances. Sewer line problems include stoppages in house service, main lines and large interceptor lines.
