TOURS AT HARFORD WASTE DISPOSAL CENTER

Ever wondered what you would see at a municipal landfill? Want to know where the recyclables go? Would you like to see how 300 tons per week of yard waste are recycled into mulch and compost? Groups are welcome to call the Harford Waste Disposal Center at Scarboro Landfill at 410-638-3637 Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm to schedule a tour. Tours are available to school students and faculty, scouting groups, environmental clubs, civic organizations and individuals.
