Harford County elections rotate according to the following schedule:

EVERY 4 YEARS, (2002, 2006, etc....)

Gubernatorial Primary - held the second Tuesday after the first Monday in September.

Gubernatorial General - held the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November.

Governor/Lt. Governor Comptroller Attorney General State Senate (Leg. Dist. 07, 34, 35) House of Delegates (House 34A, 35BA&B, 07) Democratic Central Committee (Primary Only) Republican Central Committee (Primary Only)	County Executive President of County Council County Council (District A-F) State's Attorney Clerk of the Circuit Court Register of Wills Sheriff

EVERY 4 YEARS, (2000, 2004, etc....)

Presidential Primary - held the first Tuesday in March.

Presidential General - held the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November.

OFFICES TO BE ELECTED:

President/Vice President Delegates to the National Convention

EVERY 2 YEARS, (2000, 2002, etc....)

U.S. Representative in Congress

EVERY 6 YEARS, STAGGERED TERMS

U.S. Senate, seat 1:  2004, 2010, etc.

U.S. Senate, seat 2:  2000, 2006, etc.

EVERY 15 YEARS

The various types of elected judges must run for continuance in office every 15 years.

EVERY ODD YEAR (2005, 2007, etc....)

Election held first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

Board of Commissioners (5)

2 Commissioners elected in one year
3 Commissioners elected in next election

City of Aberdeen
Election held first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

OFFICES TO BE ELECTED:

Mayor and City Council (4)

Mayor and 4 City Council members elected at one election.

EVERY YEAR (2005, 2006, etc...)

City of Havre de Grace
Election held first Tuesday in May

OFFICES TO BE ELECTED:

Mayor and City Council (6)

Mayor and 3 Council members elected at one election
3 Council members elected at next election
