Registration Information: Introductory running series open to all boys and girls ages 13 and under. Series consists of three cross-country races in Bel Air on Sunday afternoons Sept 28, Oct 12, and Oct 26. Competition is in five age groups at distances of a half-mile (ages 6-7, 8-9, and 10-11), one-mile (ages 12-13), and quarter-mile (ages 5 and under). First race in the 2014 series is at John Carroll School Sept 28. Registration forms can be downloaded from at www.runharford.com.
Jr. Track & Field Meet:
Ages 7-15; Sunday; April 27; John Carroll High School; 50/100 dash, 400/800 run, relay, long jump, softball throw in four age groups.
Boys & Girls Ages 5-18. Season runs April-July. Practice Mon, Tuesday & Thursday; 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Joppatowne High School. High school athletes can join and participate after school track season concludes. Most meets involve Saturday travel. Registration Information: Winter Program combines single, partner and group jump-roping skills, hula-hooping, and yoga to promote total-body fitness for ages 5-13. Class will meet at the Norrisville Rec Center on Wednesdays and Fridays, Jan 7 - Feb 27 from 3:30-4:45pm. Limited to 30 participants. Fee $40.
