COUNTYWIDE PROGRAM
Baseball Coaches Clinic:
Baseball Fundamentals Clinic - Youth:
March ; Harford Sports Performance Center. Instructional program designed to teach young baseball players good sportsmanship & the fundamentals of baseball in hitting, base running, pitching, fielding, & catching. Info: 410-638-3616
National Youth Sports Coaches Association Certification Program:
Harford County Department of Parks & Recreation has established an official chapter of NYSCA to train its volunteer coaches on the appropriate methods of working with children in sports. Info: 410-638-3616 or 410-638-3853.
Start Smart:
Start Smart is an instructional program that helps parents work one on one with their children while teaching tem the basics of sports. The program focuses on teaching children and their paents basic sport mechanics without the threat of competition or the fear of getting hurt. The Start Smart Sports Program consists of six (6) sessions. It is open to children (3-5) who can attend each session with their parent or another significant adult to prepare for organized sports. A Parent Orientation Meeting will be held a week before the program starts. Parent meeting will be Thursday, April 4th (Parents only) at 10 a.m. Program will meet on Thursdays from 10:00-11:00 a.m., April 11th through May 16th, for six consecutive weeks. Harford Men's Baseball League:
The Harford Men's Baseball League is an over 30 Adult Baseball League based in Harford County. Games are played in or around the Bel Air area, mainly on Sunday mornings. For more info, contact info@hmbl.biz
Harford Men's Fall Baseball League:
Currently accepting online registration for our upcoming 2014 Fall Season. Registration is done online at www.hmbl.biz/registration. Cost of fall ball is $85 per person. Players must turn 30 in current calendar year. Games are played on Sunday mornings when the Ravens are away. Please email info@hmbl.biz for more info.
