Swan Harbor Farm is a charming, 460
acre historic homesite with rolling lands bordering the
Chesapeake Bay. Maintained as a gentleman's farm,
it is surrounded by verdant fields and majestic trees.
From the initial approach through the
woods and continuing along a tree-lined lane, visitors
will know they are headed towards something special.
The grounds include a beautifully
landscaped brick patio, walkways, formal gardens and

The mansion house and grounds are
available for corporate functions, educational

Liriodendron, designed in 1897 by the
Baltimore architect J.B. Noel Wyatt, was the summer
residence of Dr. Howard A. Kelly, one of the "Big
Four" physicians of Johns Hopkins Medical School.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic
Places.
The Palladian mansion has been
described as "belonging on the cliffs of Newport,
rather than on the western edge of Bel Air in Harford
County".
The buildings and 108 acres of
woodlands are owned by Harford County as part of
Heavenly Waters Park. In 1980, with the
encouragement of the county government, the Liriodendron
Foundation, Inc., a non-profit Maryland
corporation, was created to manage the property for
public benefit and to raise funds for its support.
