Filing Complaints
Maryland law requires law enforcement agents, human service
professionals, and health care practitioners to report all
cases of suspected adult abuse, including neglect,
self-neglect, and financial exploitation immediately. (Any
other person who suspects or believes a vulnerable adult is
being abused, neglected, self-neglected, or financially
exploited, also may report.
