St. George's Episcopal Church's Parish House is open every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Free food is distributed. St. George's Food Pantry provides non-perishable foods such as meats, vegetables, canned fruit, and other assorted items. Fresh produce is available is season. A one time registration with picture identification is required.

Non-profit agency that addresses the employment needs of at-risk adults and teens by offering job skills training, career counseling, support groups, and job placement assistance. Programs include: the Women's Employment Program (for women who have lost their primary means of financial support due to separation, divorce, death of a spouse, or unemployment of a spouse), Project Tomorrow (for pregnant and parent teens), and court services programs (for drug offenders and female offenders).

Provides job training services to youth and adults of Harford and Cecil counties. Opportunities include work skills training, on-the-job training, job search assistance, educational development and summer youth employment training programs.

The Core Service Agency of Harford County (CSA) is responsible for the development, planning and management of the local mental health system in Harford County. The purpose of the Core Service Agency of Harford County is to ensure culturally competent, efficient, coordinated and effective mental health services to the Harford County community.

Services include: information and referral, advocacy, emergency assistance for prescriptions, housing (eviction prevention) and laboratory assistance, child and adolescent respite referral, adult residential referral, and complaint resolution. Emergency shelter for adolescents, runaways. Runaways can stay for 14 days; those referred by a caseworker can stay for approximately one month. Serving 12-17 year olds.

Three chapters of HC FISH consist of concerned citizens who volunteer their time and talents to minister to emergency needs of fellow citizens. These needs may be for food delivery (when no transportation is available), prescrip-tions, rent aid, utility cut-offs, transportation to doctor appointments when drivers are available,1-2 nights lodging and other various crisis. FISH depends solely on the generosity of local churches and civic groups and concerned individuals.

Harford County Transit (formerly Harford Transportation), provides public transportation services to the citizens of Harford County. There are eight fixed routes providing service to the general public.

Specialized Demand Response transportation is also available to senior citizens and persons with disabilities traveling to work, medical and social service appointments, senior centers and shopping. Call for information and/or to apply for specialized services. A fleet of lift-equipped vans and buses provides these services within the boundaries of Harford County.
