Services will assist the faith community in establishing community development programs. Harford County Faith Partnership Council will meet every second Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Edgewood Senior Center.

Neighbors Involved in the Community of Edgewood
This organization addresses the concerns of the Edgewood Community with an emphasis on risk and protective factors in preventing drug and alcohol abuse and crime. Meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday at the Edgewood Community Center. Offers male and female mentoring programs, tutoring, community advocacy, and can offer parent-to-parent drug prevention workshops.

The Harford County YMCA provides year round comprehensive child care services. The Campus Child Care Center and the Child Development Center at William Paca Industrial Park in Abingdon provide full child care for children 2-5. Before and after school child care is available in many elementary schools. Also, after school care available in some middle schools. The YMCA participates in the State of MD Purchase of Care Program. Financial assistance available.

YOUNG LIFE
Organization that has existed for over 20 years in Harford County. It is dedicated to loving kids, building relationships with them and providing them with opportunities to experience life in ways understandable to junior and high school students. Organization welcomes young persons with disabilities and has experienced volunteers. Monthly club meetings as well as special events and trips to Young Life's resort properties; transportation to and from all of these activities is provided.
