ABEOKUTO SEEKS CHANGE OF VENUE
Attorneys for Jamal Kenneth Abeokuto have filed a request to change the venue of his pending trial from Harford County. This means that pre-trial hearings scheduled for next week will not be held until the case is assigned to a new jurisdiction.
Under Maryland law a defendant facing the death penalty may request an automatic removal of his trial.
