PROSECUTOR GETS WISE
After a three day trial in Harford County Circuit Court, a jury convicted Ransom Wise of Robbery with a Dangerous and Deadly Weapon, First degree Assault and related charges. Wise was found not guilty of attempted first degree murder. Assistat State's Attorney Robin Coffin put on testimony from the 23 year old victim John Howard that he was parked in front of 820 Windstream Way in Edgewood when he was attacked by two black males. During the attack the victim was struck in the head with a table leg and was stabbed eight times. The victim was pulled from his car and property was stolen from his person and inside the car.
Sentencing will be held on 13 December 2005 in front of the trial judge, the Honorable Thomas Marshall
