Harford County Zoning Code Update
|
The Harford County Zoning Code is currently undergoing the first substantial re-write in 25 years.
A Workgroup of 25 Harford County residents was appointed by Harford County Executive David R. Craig, and County Council President Billy Boniface. Members of the Workgroup represent various citizen groups and industries within Harford County, and will present concerns and recommendations of said group/industry during this process. Members of the Workgroup are familiar with the current Code and share a common interest in improving planning and zoning for the future.
Geosyntec Consultants was selected to facilitate the update process. The Workgroup, under direction of the Facilitator, and with assistance from the Department of Planning and Zoning, will begin meeting on June 25. Meetings will be held in the Harford County Administrative Office Building, 220 South Main Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room, Bel Air, MD 21014 from 2-4 pm. Meeting dates are listed below.
