We hope you are able to celebrate this year’s annual Poker Run with Harford Streams at  Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park on Saturday, May 22, 12:30 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. Rain or Shine!

FREE for everyone, citizens of all ages are sent on an exciting Poker Run to four different Harford Streams locations including Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park, Lock House Museum, Pollinator Garden at Moore Family Homestead Property, Concord Point Park Pond Retrofit and Landscape Infiltration and Millard Tydings Memorial Park.

KONA ICE will be on-site and all participants will receive a coupon for a “FREE” shaved ice during registration and all furry friends will receive a FREE dog bandana

1. Begin your adventure at Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park in Havre de Grace between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. for registration, a score sheet and a list of locations to visit.

2. Participants will visit all locations and take selfies while collecting one playing card from an attendant at each site. Leave yourself plenty of time because score sheets are due back at Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park by 4:00 p.m. to be eligible for all the cool prizes listed below.

3. Prizes will be announced at 4:15 p.m. and you must be present to win. NEW this year, there will be adult and junior prizes.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, exhibitors at Frank J. Hutchins Memorial Park will be separated by at least six feet and all attendees should practice social distancing and follow other CDC guidelines. 

The May 22 poker run kicks off our Harford Streams Summer Adventure, a summer-long event inviting residents to explore local streams, take selfies at their favorite locations, and send in the photos to win prizes. Harford Streams Summer Adventure, which was developed by Harford County Department of Public Works’ Office of Watershed Protection and Restoration, runs from Friday, May 28, 2021 through Monday, September 6, 2021.
