Below are some great educational classes and programs that will help you and your child navigate mental health issues.

Harford County Seal

The Harford County Local Care Team is an inter-agency council designed to provide support to families trying to access services for a child with intensive emotional and behavioral needs. This collaborative group brings together representatives of several child-serving agencies to review a child's particular needs, and then work together with family input to identify programs and services that can help.

Mental Health First Aid Logo

This public education, national certification course is designed to teach the skills necessary to respond with care and genuine support to an individual experiencing mental health or substance use concerns or crisis.  Contact Sandi Gallion smgallion@harfordcountymd.gov for information.

Bridge Program Logo

The Harford County Bridge Program was designed to help connect youth to mental and behavioral health resources.  Through this free program, families meet with an experienced and understanding navigator to address mental health and behavioral health concerns and identify risk factors.  The navigator will then assist families with finding care and support services in the community to improve the participant's well-being.

Ed Lally Foundation provides Suicide Bereavement Support Group virtually.  A free monthly support group for survivors of suicide loss meets on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
