A community water system is a public system that uses an average of 10,000 gallons per day and services at least 15 connections used by year-round residents, or regularly serves at least 25 residents throughout the year. A nontransient noncommunity water system is a public system that uses an average of 10,000 gallons per day and regularly serves at least 25 of the same individuals over 6 months per year.
