On the evening of January 9, 2024, to 2:00am January 10, 2024, the extreme weather event deposited approximately 4 inches of rain in Harford County. This caused excessive flow to the Bush Creek Sewage Pumping Station which resulted in approximately 28,500 gallons of raw sewage being released from the pumping station to the Bush River. It is advised that no direct contact with the water in Bush River occurred in the area of 701 Pamela Drive, Abingdon, Maryland 21009.
