Gold 9-1-1 Program
The Harford County Department of Emergency Services seeks to honor children who called 9-1-1 for assistance in a real, documented emergency situation.
This special hero is invited with his or her parents to the Harford County 9-1-1 Center to meet the 9-1-1 call-taker they talked to on the phone and others who may have helped during the emergency.
The call-taker or 9-1-1 educator from the 9-1-1 Center presents a gold 9-1-1 pin, symbolizing the child's heroism, to the child.
