A heavy load / oversize vehicle will be traversing Perryman area roads (MD159 and Chelsea Road) on or about Wednesday, March 1st. When it crosses the Amtrak Bridge on Chelsea Road between Michaelsville Road and Woodley Road, no other vehicles will be allowed on the bridge - thereby effectively closing the road for a period of time. This crossing is estimated to occur sometime around 10:00 a.m. and take approximately ½ hour. After crossing the bridge, the heavy move vehicle will slowly proceed south on Chelsea Road to its destination. No vehicles will be allowed to pass the wide, heavy move vehicle.
Please make other arrangements if you travel on this roadway and if you must be on these roads during the move, please be safe and obey the flaggers and traffic control devices surrounding the vehicle.
