Taylor Creek Stream Study (in progress)

Taylor Creek, a tributary to Gunpowder River, is in the Rumsey Island community of Joppa. The watershed or area of land that drains to the stream (shown below as the green line) is 814 acres. The headwaters is near the intersection of Trimble and Joppa roads.

Report 

The Taylor Creek Stream Study is scheduled to begin in February 2018.

A draft report is anticipated in summer 2018 and will be available for public comment. The plan will include a list of potential restoration projects to improve stream health.
