Lower Bynum Run Stream Study
Bynum Run, a tributary to the Bush River, is between Forest Hill and Abingdon. The watershed or area of land that drains to the stream is 15,000 acres. The headwaters is near the intersection of MD Route 24 and Jarrettsville Road. Lower Bynum Run includes the area from MD Route 22 near Bynum Run Park south to the confluence with Bush River, or approximately 70% of the total watershed (shown below as the green line). The Lower Bynum Run Stream Study only includes portions of the watershed.
