The Watershed Stewards Academy Class of 2022 constructed a rain garden on the west side of the Mariner Point Park Visitor Center to treat stormwater runoff from the roof of the information building in April of 2022! Members of the class and a handful of dedicated volunteers showed up to help construct the rain garden that would capture and treat rooftop runoff and serve as an educational feature at the park.
